Think UK businesses should be required to give to charity by law
Think UK businesses should be doing more for charity in general
Having seen first-hand the devastation in Mexico it has truly broken my heart to know that so many lives have been lost.
I have just visited Colegio Enrique Rebsamen to try and offer help to the volunteers who are bravely still digging through the rubble with their bare hands and are still searching for missing children. Having three children myself, I cannot imagine the anguish the parents of the missing children are going through. There is a real sense of solidarity coupled with desperate urgency at the site - with the news of any new children being found sending cries and tears of joy amongst everyone who is working tirelessly to find the children before the thunderstorms begin - right now every second counts. Bless these dear people. In a world where it seems natural disasters are ever more frequent it is imperative we come together to help those most in need.
There is an urgency to help the local people impacted by this tragedy and I urge anyone and everyone who can help to do so. GSF is working with local organisations to identify needs of affected individuals, families and communities impacted by this disaster. We will endeavour to offer support efforts on the ground and provide assistance as those affected start to recover.
We need to raise as much money as possible to those in urgent need. If you would like to support the fundraising effort then please donate by clicking the button below.
